Joining us for this episode of Wallace Hartley Presents, is Kabir Qurtan, a Uighur Activist from Kazakhstan, who now resides in Vancouver BC and teaches highschool. Kabir gives us an inside view of what's really going on in China pertaining to the detention, surveillance, persecution and genocide of the Muslim Uighur people and how his parents fled China because of it. Truly terrifying and particularly relevant with what's happening in the world today.
